About The WUGC

The Union was formed on the 17th November 1905 at the Star Hotel, Worcester and is the fourth oldest County Union in England.

Dave McGillivray, our President, welcomes you to this wonderful golfing County, which has 33 clubs. They are a diverse mixture of private, corporate and public courses. This website features all our clubs and their details so that you can easily make contact, whether you are a complete beginner, visitor or established player.

Thursday 9th May sees Hagley GC host the Worcestershire Club Team Handicap Tournament for the Dave McDermott Bowl. Handicap limit for team players is 10-28. Click here for team entry form.

Launch of The Worcestershire Boys Order of Merit 2019

Combined Boys Team keeps bragging rights over Combined Seniors Team - 15th April 2019

The players at Redditch GC on Monday 15th April before the annual Boys Teams v Senior Teams fixture. The boys managed another win to back up their victory at Droitwich GC in 2018.

Blackwell GC who will host the final of this year's County Winter Knockout Tournaments on Sunday 28th April.

The Droitwich Shield Final will be between Moseley A & Worcester G&CC A, starting at 10.00am.

The Kidderminster Cup Final will be between Moseley A & Wharton Park, starting at 10.30am.

The R&A Salvers final will be contested by The Abbey B (represented by John Finch & Ashley Davies) and Redditch A (represented by Paul & Chris Hastings).
