County Championship Team Event - Individuals Rules

All clubs affiliated to Worcestershire County Golf Ltd may enter a team or teams. The handicap index limit for team players is 9.4. All team players must have nominated the club they represent as their “Home Club”, for WHS Handicapping purposes.
The competition shall be played in accordance with Worcestershire County Golf's General Terms of Competitions - see County Website
Rule 24.4 Advice is NOT permitted as the scores in the Team Event are part of a 54-hole Strokeplay event. For the same reason a Team Captain may not give advice to his players.
The Tomson-James Cup will be awarded to the Club whose A Team has the best aggregate gross score for all 3 players. The Jubilee Shield will be awarded to the Club whose B Team has the best aggregate gross score for all 3 players.
Under the direction of the Championship Committee, the Club winning the Tomson-James Cup will represent Worcestershire in the England Golf Champion Club Tournament, at Lilley Brook GC on Sat & Sun 17th & 18th September 2022.
In the event of a tie for the Tomson-James Cup or Jubilee Shield, these trophies will be held jointly by the winning teams. For qualification to the England Golf Champion Club Tournament, the winners will be the Tomson-James Cup team, whose players return the better or best aggregate score over the last 9, 6, 3 or last hole.
Entry will close 2359hrs on Sunday 29 May, after which a draw for tee times will be made and clubs advised.
