Ollie Farr Joins in with Boys Squad Coaching at Worcester G&CC

  European Tour Professional Oliver Farr

The Boys squad faced an extra challenge today at county coaching on the short game area. On a bright but cold morning Tour Pro and son of our head coach, Graham Farr, Oliver Farr joined the lads to both advise and add some spice to the short game skills tests.

Oliver commented that he was happy to join the lads in an attempt to sharpen his game and it was a' thank you to Dad for all the help he has given me '

Ollie did a short Q & A session with each group and Graham did some good one to one work with the lads working on consistency and purity of the ball strike. Whilst over on the putting green team manager Ian Henry carried out  checks on the boys putting skills.

The guys will do the same later with the afternoon group.

How did the lads compare to Ollie, well in truth favourably with Nathan Grant and Nathan Slater impressing.

My thanks to our coaches for today, it is hard when it is bitterly cold, and special thanks to Ollie, who I know enjoyed the experience and has said he will be happy to help over the winter when he is free, which can only be great news for our county juniors.
