With respect to the OOM, Elliot Mason of Hagley G&CC tried to make inroads into Jake Kelly’s lead, finishing fifth on the day, and fifth in the OOM. However, Jake cemented his OOM win with a seventh place in today’s open.

Mark Ralphs was to thank Adrian Price for his help in securing some of the prize sponsorship, Paul Johnson and Nike for sponsorship of the second and third prizes, and David Westwood and Galvin Green for donating the first prize.

Thanks were also given to the clubs for their enthusiasm in supporting the OOM and promptly sending in the results of their junior opens.

Mark invited Felicity Johnson, two time Ladies European Tour winner, to present the prizes.

Overall 1st place in the Worcestershire Junior OOM 2015 went to Jake Kelly from Ombersley GC who thanked all the junior organisers, their clubs, and the County officials for the organisation of the OOM. Jake also thanked Hagley G&CC for the use of the course, and spoke on behalf of all the players when he commented on the excellent condition of the course.
