Juniors meet up again at Kings Norton 16.5.21

It was great to see 21 juniors from across the county meeting up again after a long lay off to play an individual stableford competition at Kings Norton GC. It was also good to welcome Alex Emms, from The Vale GC, to the squad. A special mention must go to Hugh Adams and James Ilsley, who couldn't make it because they were attending an England Golf Regional squad coaching session. We hope they had a good day.
The course was playing its full length after the rain and was in great condition. There were some very fine scores and our top points scorers were:

36 points - Harry Hawkesford
35 points - Phillip Krone & Alex Emms
34 points - Dan Wakeman
Best gross - Phillip Krone with 73
2nd best gross - Alex Emms with 75
The County juniors are really looking forward to playing in the matches this year as we hope for much more 'normal' season ahead. Thank you to the junior organisers, Mark Hewlett, Roger Martin, Stuart Pritchard and Colin Day for their excellent support with this event.
