Worcestershire County Seniors 4BBB Championship
26 pairs competed for the Worcestershire Senior 4BBB title at Droitwich Golf Club on Thursdays 30 June. On a cloudy and breezy day, the weather made low scoring difficult despite a very well setup up and excellent condition course. However, that did not stop the County Senior Champion Duncan MacPherson and his playing partner Anthony Hill (Worcester G&CC & Moseley GC) finishing with a winning score of 67, 2 shots ahead of the field and second place pair of Andrew Longley and Phillip Shurmer (The Worcestershire GC & Worcester G&CC).
The Nett prizes were taken by Gary Hewitt and James Kirby (Kings Norton GC) who made good use of their shots to card a Nett 62, closely followed by Grenville Rose and Robert Coe (Worcester G&CC) with 63.
