About The WUGC

The Union was formed on the 17th November 1905 at the Star Hotel, Worcester and is the fourth oldest County Union in England.

Grenville Rose, our President, welcomes you to this wonderful golfing County, which has 33 clubs. They are a diverse mixture of private, corporate and public courses. This website features all our clubs and their details so that you can easily make contact, whether you are a complete beginner, visitor or established player.

2018 Worcestershire Boys Order of Merit Launched

18 clubs across Worcestershire are involved in the 2018 Worcestershire Boys Order of Merit, with the first event being held at Churchill & Blakedown GC on Saturday 12th May. Click here for full details of the OOM.

Midland clubs show high attendances on WHS

The Worcestershire A to play Kidderminster A in the final of the Droitwich Shield

The Worcestershire A, who beat Bransford A in their semi final, will play Kidderminster A, who beat Kings Norton in their semi final, in the final of The Droitwich Shield. This is to be held at Blackwell GC on Sunday 29th April, starting at 10.00am.

Kings Norton to play Stourbridge in Kidderminster Cup Final

Stourbridge won 2-1 against Gaudet Luce whilst Kings Norton defeated Worcester G&CC 3-0 to reach the final of the Kidderminster Cup, which will be played at Blackwell GC on Sunday April 29th., starting at 10.30am.

Hollywood B to face Little Lakes B in the R&A Salver Final

Little Lakes B, who beat Redditch B, and Hollywood B, who defeated Redditch A, have won through to the inaugural R&A Salver 4BBB Final to be played at Blackwell GC on Sunday 29th April, starting at 11.00am.


Seniors Rearranged Visit to St Pierre

Now on 27TH & 28TH MAY

County Senior Captain, Paul Newman, is taking a group of 18 players to St Pierre for a get together on 27th and 28th May.
