About The WUGC

The Union was formed on the 17th November 1905 at the Star Hotel, Worcester and is the fourth oldest County Union in England.

Grenville Rose, our President, welcomes you to this wonderful golfing County, which has 33 clubs. They are a diverse mixture of private, corporate and public courses. This website features all our clubs and their details so that you can easily make contact, whether you are a complete beginner, visitor or established player.

Tough Sunday for County 1st & 2nd Teams 3.9.17

In the last matches of the season in the Midland League the County 1st team lost 6 - 9 at Mickleover GC, whilst County 2nd team lost 5 -10 at Kings Norton GC.



Top performances by our champions at Woodhall Spa

Joe Price, (Boys Champion) finished in 3rd place and 

Steve Green (Seniors Champion)  also finished in 3rd place in the Champion of Champions Tournament on the Hotchkin Course, Woodhall Spa

Ian Martin wins Worcestershire Open 5.9.17

Ian Martin (professional from Kings Norton GC) won the Worcestershire Open and Adam Norman (Moseley GC and County Captain) won the Secretaries Bowl.
