About The WUGC

The Union was formed on the 17th November 1905 at the Star Hotel, Worcester and is the fourth oldest County Union in England.

Grenville Rose, our President, welcomes you to this wonderful golfing County, which has 33 clubs. They are a diverse mixture of private, corporate and public courses. This website features all our clubs and their details so that you can easily make contact, whether you are a complete beginner, visitor or established player.

Seniors display the new WM League Trophy - 4.10.18

Grenville Rose (County President) and Paul Newman (Seniors Captain) proudly display the new WM League Seniors Trophy at the Council Meeting. The County Seniors Team play their Midlands decider against Northamptonshire ( East Mids winners) on 22nd Oct at Hennle Park GC.

Super Hayden qualifies for IMG World Finals in 2019

Scoring at tremendous 5 under par at Gainsborough GC to win the UK Qualifier, 8 yr old Hayden Sarfo is off to the USA in 2019 to play in the 9-10 world age group finals. Hayden's performance was well covered by Sky Sports recently. Well done Hayden, another great achievement.
