About The WUGC

The Union was formed on the 17th November 1905 at the Star Hotel, Worcester and is the fourth oldest County Union in England.

Grenville Rose, our President, welcomes you to this wonderful golfing County, which has 33 clubs. They are a diverse mixture of private, corporate and public courses. This website features all our clubs and their details so that you can easily make contact, whether you are a complete beginner, visitor or established player.

U18 Boys just pipped for Overall Midlands League Title - Sunday 8th October

The U18 Boys Team picked up the West Midlands League Trophy at Kedleston Park GC, but lost to Nottinghamshire 7 v 8 in the Overall Midland League Final.

Heartbreak for Seniors as they lose League Title to Warwickshire by 1 individual match point

Needing to beat Derbyshire by a clear 10 points to snatch the West Midlands League title from us, Warwickshire won today's (3rd October 2017) match by 14 1/2 v 3 1/2 at Stratford upon Avon GC.

Elliot Jones off to San Diego in 2018

Elliot Jones (Gaudet Luce GC) caps an excellent season by qualifying for the 2018 World Junior Golf Championship in San Diego by virtue of a 2nd place finish in his age group, with a superb gross 75 at the British Junior Golf Tour event at Park Hill GC on 8th October 2017. 

U14s Season ends with narrow defeat by S&H - Sunday 15th October

The U14 Team at Hollywood GC on Sunday 15th October 2017. 

The team lost 2 v 4 to S&H.

U16 Boys finish league season with good win against Derbyshire

The U16 team who beat Derbyshire 10 v 5, at Cleobury Mortimer GC on Sunday 1st October 2017.
