Format: Individual 18 Holes Medal Strokeplay.

The handicap index limit is 18.4, but entries will be restricted to the lowest 60 EXACT handicap indices on the final day for entries, with a ballot on ties if necessary.

On the day of competition course handicaps will be limited to the maximum HI limit for entry. Where there is a ballot, the HI at the time of the ballot will be used.

Entry is open to Amateur male members aged 55 years or over on the day of competition. Entrants must be members of Golf Clubs affiliated to Worcestershire County Golf Ltd,

The Championship & Nevil Carroll Salver will be awarded to the player with the Best Gross Score.

The player with the Best Nett Score for the Championship will be awarded the Denis Hayes Salver.

In addition, there are Gross & Nett prizes for the best scores in the age groups 55-59, 60-69 and 70 and over.

A player may only win one prize.

Under the direction of the Championship Committee, the Senior Champion will be invited to represent Worcestershire in the England Golf Champion of Champions Tournament at Woodhall Spa GC on 14 & 15 September 2024.

The players with the best 8 Gross scores will qualify to play in the Worcestershire Senior Matchplay Championships to be held at Bransford GC on 24 & 25 Jul 24..

In the event of a tie for the Nevil Carroll Salver there will be an immediate play-off over holes nominated by the Championship Committee.

In the event of a further tie, play will continue over the same holes on a sudden death basis.

For all other prizes the competitor with the better or best score on countback will be declared the winner.

The competition shall be played in accordance with Worcestershire County Golf's ‘General Terms of Competitions’ – see County Website.

Entry for this competition is balloted to 60 entries. Online entry does not guarantee a place in the final competition.
