County 1st team win against Nottinghamshire, whilst 2nd Team fall just short
Halesowen GC hosted the County 1st Team match against Nottinghamshire on Sunday 5th September 2021
The County 1st Team continued their excellent form this year by beating Nottinghamshire 9 1/2 - 5 1/2 in the Midland League fixture played at Halesowen GC on Sunday 5th September 2021.
In a tense match, the result could have been much closer, with 10 of the 15 games reaching the 18th. Fortunately, many of these games went Worcestershire's way resulti g in what looks like a convincing 9 1/2 - 5 1/2 win.

The win means that the outcome of the League is in our own hands, and a win of any kind against Shropshire & Herefordshire on Sunday 3rd October at Telford Hotel & Golf Resort will mean the Team win the League.

The 2nd Team, playing at Chilwell Manor GC, had a frustrating day and fell juts short, losing 9 -6.
