Passing of Paul Scarrett.

We are extremely saddened to report the passing of Paul Scarrett.
Paul, who was 55 years of age, passed away on the 3rd March after a fairly short illness.  Scazz, as he was affectionately known, was a member of Blackwell. He served the County with distinction as County Captain and as one of a small band of players who achieved the distinction of playing over 100 County first team matches, as well as being a past County Champion and winner of the Worcestershire Open. He was the loveliest of men, a superb golfer and will be very sadly missed. He is survived by his two sons Dan and John to whom we offer our sincere condolences. Further information will follow.
