Worcestershire Invitational @ Sapey Golf Club

It was our final competition of the year with the Worcestershire Invitational at Sapey Golf Club on 26 September and officials from 13 clubs were joined by the County President and Golf Director for an 18-hole 4BBB competition.

Sadly, the weather intervened, and the competition had to be abandoned with only 8 holes completed by all of the teams; we started and ended the season with weather abandoned competitions!

Congratulations to our winners Kevin Phillips & John Bunce (Little Lakes GC) and to our runners up and third pace teams of Narinder Jandu & Andrew Parker (Kings Norton GC) and Neil Barrett & Simon Markey (Stourbridge).

Our thanks to James Brown and his team at Sapey GC who were excellent hosts and looked after us so very well all day. On behalf of the teams, I would like to also thank James for his generous offer of 4 balls so that they can return to Sapey GC and enjoy a full 18 holes.
