Steve Clarke Wins the Guy Bigwood Cup
It took a 37th sudden playoff hole to decide the winner of the Worcestershire Open at The Worcestershire Golf Club. With Steve Clarke (Droitwich GC) having the honour for the play off a drive onto the green put the pressure on Tom Howell (The Worcestershire GC) whose drive finished short of the green. His chip to the back of the green and subsequent putt left a short putt to finish, but with Steve in such a good position his 2-putt birdie was enough to claim the Guy Bigwood Cup.
